Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man with one count of murder following the death of another man in Hastings yesterday morning.
The 26-year-old Hastings man will be held over to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The charges follow a call to police about an injured 29-year-old Hastings man who subsequently died in Queen Street, Hastings on Monday 18 January.
It is believed the men were known to one another.
