Frankston Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a man with 17 historical sex offences.
It is alleged the offences against two female victims took place between 2001 and 2007 in the Mornington Peninsula area.
The 71-year-old Balnarring man was arrested in August 2022.
He’s been charged with 17 offences including sexual penetration of a child under 16, indecent act with a child under 16 and threats to kill.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 5 May 2023.
