Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a serious collision in Mulgrave yesterday afternoon.
The man allegedly collided with a pedestrian while driving a truck on Police Road about 3.15pm.
The 50-year-old Bunyip man has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury and driving while suspended.
He remains in custody and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
The pedestrian, an 18-year-old woman, remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
