Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a serious assault in Wodonga last night.
Police attended at an address on Ritter Road and located a 43-year-old man lying in the driveway with a serious head injury just before 10pm.
The victim was conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in the rear yard of the premises and has been charged with recklessly cause serious injury, intentionally cause serious injury and assault with a weapon.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at the Wodonga Magistrates’ Court later this morning.
