A 26-year-old man has been charged with criminal code assault, attempt to cause grievous bodily harm, possess dangerous article in public and dangerous driving offences following an alleged hit and run incident at Triton Rd, East Devonport on Sunday.
Police have determined the parties involved in the isolated incident were known to each other.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in the Devonport Magistrates Court on 12 December.
