A man will appear in court today charged with murder following the death of a man in Sydney’s north yesterday.
About 4.20pm (Thursday 7 September 2023), emergency services were called to a home on Kita Road, Berowra Heights, following reports of a domestic violence incident.
On arrival, officers from Ku-Ring-Gai Police Area Command found a man suffering serious injuries.
The 69-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.
A 38-year-old man – known to him – was arrested at the home and taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He has been refused bail to appear at Hornsby Local Court today (Friday 8 September 2023).
