Police charge teen regarding Maribyrnong affray

Police have charged a teenager following an assault in Maribyrnong on 8 June.

The 14-year-old from West Footscray has been charged with affray.

He will appear at a Children’s Court at a later date.

A second teen presented himself to police on 28 June and he is expected to be charged on summons with affray.

The 13-year-old victim was assaulted by a group of teens that occurred at a shopping centre bus stop on Rosamond Road about 3.30pm.

Further CCTV images have been released of three teens who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

All three teens are perceived to be African in appearance and all aged in their teens.

The first offender was wearing a black and white t-shirt with long sleeves, black pants and a black beanie.

The second male was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans and had short black hair and the third teen was wearing a black puffer jacket, black pants and a black beanie.
