Police charge three men after armed robbery in Werribee

Westgate Alliance Taskforce detectives have charged three men in relation to an armed robbery in Werribee.

It’s alleged the male victim was walking along Tower Road in Werribee at about 10pm on Tuesday 25 July, when he was approached by two unknown males.

It’s alleged the men produced knives and made demands for the victim’s phone and wallet which the victim handed over.

The alleged offenders then fled the area while the victim contacted police.

Police and specialist units responded on the ground and in the air immediately but were unable to locate the alleged offenders at the time.
