Detectives from the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two men following investigations into an armed robbery at Capalaba on 19 June.
It will be alleged that between 1 and 3am, two people gained access to a property on a Capalaba street, and assaulted the single male occupant and stole several items.
The occupant of the home, a 51-year-old man was uninjured.
Following investigations, officers arrested the men the following day at a Holland Crescent address and took two men into custody.
A 20-year-old Capalaba man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons and one count each of receiving tainted property, possess utensils or pipes that had been used, authority required to possess explosives and robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence.
A 22-year-old Capalaba man was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons, authority required to possess explosives, robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence, contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, enter dwelling with intent at night in company and breach of bail condition.
They have both been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on 20 August.
