Police Charge Two After Search Warrant – Coffs/Clarence

Two men will face court today charged following a search warrant at a property north of Coffs Harbour.

In June 2026, police commenced an investigation into drug supply offences in the Coffs/Clarence Police District.

About 9.05am yesterday (Monday 22 June 2026), the Coffs Harbour Region Enforcement Squad, North Coast Domestic Violence High-Risk Offender Team and Coffs/Clarence Detectives attended a property on Holloways Road, Sandy Beach, to execute a search warrant.

During the search, police allegedly located and seized items of interest including 35 cannabis plants, cannabis leaf, 40g cocaine, 123ml GHB, 23g MDMA, 6g methamphetamine, steroids, testosterone tablets, a flick knife, ammunition, knuckle dusters, and $1,780 cash.

Two men – aged 32 and 35 – were arrested and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

The younger man was charged with 10 offences,

  • Possess prohibited drug (four counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug >indictable &
  • Possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime (less than $100,000)
  • Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, and
  • Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.

The older man was charged with fail to comply digital evidence access order direction. An outstanding warrant was also executed for alleged domestic violence and bail offences.

Both men were refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 1 today (Tuesday 23 June 2026).
