Police have charged two men following a reported incident on the Murray River at Moama at the weekend.
The charges relate to an incident on Murray River at Moama on the afternoon of Saturday 11 March 2023, when a group of men on a pontoon boat allegedly intimidated a group of women on a houseboat.
The incident was reported to officers attached to Murray River Police District, who commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, police spoke with two men, aged 26 and 28, in Victoria today (Tuesday 14 March 2023).
Both men were issued with Field Court Attendance Notices for the offence of intimidation; they are due to appear in Moama Local Court on Thursday 11 May 2023.
