Detectives from the Homicide Squad have charged a second person following a fatal stabbing in Southbank last month.
A 36-year-old Melbourne woman was arrested yesterday and has been subsequently charged with murder.
She faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last night and was remanded in custody to appear again on 30 November.
The charges follow an incident on 10 July where a 39-year-old Southbank man was fatally stabbed at an apartment building on Sturt Street.
A 48-year-old Toolangi man was charged with murder later that day and remanded in custody to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 1 October.
