Police have charged a 24-year-old woman over a fire which destroyed a home at Currumbin Valley yesterday morning.
It is alleged a fire broke out in the Tomewin Mountain Road home around 4am.
A man and a woman, both aged 61, escaped the blaze with the man sustaining burns to his hands.
A 24-year-old Currumbin Valley woman has been charged with arson and will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
