Police investigate $10,000 copper theft in Truganina

Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following the theft of copper valued at about $10,000 in Truganina last month.

Investigators have been told a man damaged a security camera before stealing copper from a property in Apex Drive on Sunday, 14 November just before 6pm.

Police have released CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with a solid build.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black track suit pants and black gum boots.

He was also brandishing a long black metal stake.
