Police are appealing for witnesses after a house fire at Greenacre this morning revealed a quantity of cannabis plants.
About 6am (Sunday 6 January 2019), emergency services were called to a home on Roberts Road which was on fire.
Emergency services attended and officers from Fire & Rescue NSW were able to extinguish the blaze.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.
A search of the home revealed that no one was in the premises, however a quantity of cannabis plants were located.
Investigators have commenced inquiries into the cause of the fire and are appealing for anyone with information about suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
