Police investigate armed robberies at Oxley and Inala

Police investigating the armed robbery of three businesses in Inala and Oxley overnight have released vision.

At 3.50am, three men used a brick to smash the window of an Oxley Road liquor shop, stole alcohol and left in a maroon coloured Rav 4.

At 4am, three men in a stolen maroon Rav 4 have stopped at an Oxley Road service station before two men entered the store and threatened a female staff member with a knife.

The men demanded cash, cigarettes and the keys for the shop attendant’s vehicle.

One of the men got back into the Rav4 and the other drove away in the woman’s Mitsubishi Lancer.

At 4.40am a man attended a service station on Rosemary Street at Inala and threated a male staff member while demanding cash and cigarettes.

The staff member complied, and the man left the store and was seen to get into a maroon coloured SUV further along Rosemary Street.

The man was described as 185cm tall, Caucasian, slim build wearing a grey hooded jumper and black adidas pants.

The Toyota Rav 4 was stolen from an Inala residence on Wednesday night, August 20 and was located in Sanderling Street at Inala at 8am today.

The Mitsubishi Lancer was located around 6am today in Buddleia Street at Inala. Noone was injured during any of the incidents.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with further information or relevant dash cam vision to contact police.
