Police investigate armed robbery at Marsden

Police are appealing for dashcam footage and CCTV as part of an investigation into the armed robbery of a Marsden restaurant overnight.

Initial investigations indicate a man has attended the Macarthy Road restaurant at approximately 6pm on Sunday April 24.

Entering through a back door, the man who was armed with a knife and what appeared to be a firearm, raised the weapons towards three workers who then ran from the building.

The man then left with a cash register, which was later located by police a short distance away with all cash still inside.

No one was physically injured.

The man is believed to be Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall and was wearing a black mask over his face and a dark coloured jumper.

Logan detectives are appealing to anyone with information, dashcam footage or CCTV in the vicinity of Macarthy Road, Third Avenue and Burrowes Street between 5.45pm and 6.30pm to contact police.
