Police investigate armed robbery at Rockhampton 10 November

Police are appealing for public information in relation to an armed robbery at Rockhampton overnight.

At 12.35am, a man dressed in high visibility clothing (pictured) and armed with a machete approached the drive-through window of a fast food restaurant located at the corner of George and Fitzroy streets.

The man, who was on foot at the time, used the machete to smash the drive-through window, reaching through and forcibly removing the cash register with a small sum of cash.

The offender fled the scene on foot and remains outstanding.

No one was physically injured during this incident.
