Police investigate Broadmeadows funny money

Broadmeadows police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who attempted to use counterfeit money in Broadmeadows last month.

Investigators have been told the man attempted to use counterfeit money to buy items at a supermarket on Pascoe Vale Road at 2.10pm on Thursday 16 April.

The man became agitated when confronted about the counterfeit note and left the store without anything.

Police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
