Police are investigating a deliberately lit house fire in South Arm Road, Rokeby which occurred in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 2.30am following a report of a house on fire.
The residence was vacant at the time and no one was injured in the incident.
Tasmania Fire Service investigators have determined the fire to be deliberately lit, with Tasmania Police launching a criminal investigation.
