Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a fatal collision in Epping last night.
Police and emergency services responded after a truck collided with a motorcycle in Produce Drive about 10.45pm.
The male rider, who is yet to be formally identified, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries but sadly he died in hospital.
The truck driver, a St Albans man, stopped at the scene and is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
