Detectives from Moreland Crime Investigation Unit are seeking public assistance to locate a distinctive Ford stolen from Fawkner.
Investigators have been told a 1976 Ford HB coupe was being stored in a garage at a property on Lanigan Street.
The property was broken into some time between 1 September and 9 October and the vehicle stolen.
Investigators have been told the distinctive yellow Ford, with registration plates IME-310, is valued at $200,000.
