Police investigate robbery at Richlands

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed in Richlands last week.

Around 1pm on Friday August 21 the driver of a 2003 Holden Commodore was travelling east along Boundary Road, when he was stopped by three people standing in the middle of the road.

When he got out of his car the 29-year-old was struck in the side of the head by a fourth person.

The man was hit again and lost consciousness, waking up to find his wallet, which had a sum of cash and credit cards in it missing.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
