Police investigate Roxburgh Park incident

Detectives from Hume Crime Investigation Unit are hoping to identify three people after they crashed a stolen ute into a tree in Roxburgh Park on Tuesday.

Police sighted the stolen Nissan Navarra ute travelling north on Rio Grande Drive about 3.15pm on 18 June.

The car then turned onto Marne Drive where it struck a parked car.

Police attempted to intercept the vehicle when it sped off, turning into Parana Grove where it crashed into a tree.

The three occupants fled the vehicle on foot and remain outstanding.

Investigators have released CCTV vision of the incident in the hope of identifying three people who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Two men were perceived to be of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance and aged between 15 and 20-year-old.

The third person had long black hair tied back in ponytail.
