Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed at a Kawungan home in Hervey Bay this morning.
Around 6am, police were called to a disturbance at Lindeman Court address.
Police located a 49-year-old woman with lacerations to her neck. She was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital for surgery.
The attacker was known to the woman.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
