Police investigating wounding at Mount Warren Park

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy following an alleged wounding at Mount Warren Park yesterday, October 1.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 4.40pm, two 16-year-old boys were walking along Cramer Boulevard when a physical altercation broke out between them and two men.

One of the teens has then allegedly produced a knife and at some point during the incident, the two men have both received stab wounds.

The 16-year-old boy armed with a knife was tracked down by the dog squad a short distance away.

The two men, aged 26 and 27, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and wounding.

He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court today, October 2.
