Police investigating wounding at Surfers Paradise

Police are investigating after a man sustained non-life threatening stab wounds to his leg at Surfers Paradise yesterday afternoon.

Around 5.50pm a scuffle broke out between three men at Cavill Avenue where punches were thrown. During the incident a 41-year-old man sustained two puncture wounds to his upper right leg.

The man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police investigations are continuing.
