Police investigating wounding incident at Goodna

A 25-year-old Goodna man is assisting police with enquiries following an altercation with a 19-year-old Goodna man last night.

At 8.15pm on May 25, police were called to a Caldwell address following reports of a dispute between the pair.

On arrival, officers located the 19-year-old man with a wound to his upper arm, consistent with being grazed by a firearm pellet.

He was treated at the scene for a non-life-threatening injury.

The 25-year-old man had left the scene but was located nearby on Napier Street, Silkstone at 10pm and taken into custody.

A crime scene was declared on Caldwell Street with investigations into the matter ongoing.
