Police are appealing for information after a suspicious house fire in the Illawarra earlier this year.
About 2.35am (Sunday 31 January 2021), emergency services were called to Wegit Way, Warrawong, following reports of a fire.
NSW Rural Fire Service attended and extinguished the blaze.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.
The townhouse sustained serious structural damage in the fire, which is being treated as suspicious
No one was at home at the time of the incident.
A dark-coloured vehicle was also seen in the vicinity of the incident. Police would like to speak with the occupants of the vehicle.
