Detectives from Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit have charged two women following an alleged assault in Caulfield on Tuesday 8 February.
Emergency services were called to a convenience store on Hawthorn Road about 10.15am after reports a 52-year-old woman had been assaulted.
The woman was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Investigators arrested two 51-year-old women from Caulfield in relation to the matter.
They have been charged with recklessly cause serious injury and bailed to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 19 May 2022.
