Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged the driver involved in a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred in Katherine on Thursday night.
An investigation into the incident was conducted by detectives from Major Crash and Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch.
Following his release from hospital, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Drive motor vehicle cause harm or death
- Recklessly endangering serious harm
- Breach of bail
- Drive vehicle in dangerous manner
- Drive under influence of alcohol
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Local Court on Tuesday 15 December 2020.
