Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad and members from the Tactical Response Group arrested a 26-year-old male yesterday evening on Old McMillans Road for an assault that occurred on 31 January 2024 in Palmerston.
His alleged co-offender, a 23-year-old male, was arrested shortly after and both were taken to the Palmerston Watch House. The males are expected to be charged later today.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Trent Abbott said, “It was a great outcome, with both males being taken into custody without incident”.
