Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to a death in Jilkminggan overnight.
Around 11:20pm, police received reports that a 45-year-old female had suffered a stab wound to her back at a residence within the community. Local police members attended and commenced CPR, however the victim was declared deceased a short time later.
The partner of the victim, a 46-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
Investigations remain ongoing.
