Police make arrest – Recklessly endanger life in Katherine

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 70-year-old man for allegedly recklessly endangering the life of a 73-year-old man in Katherine yesterday.

About 11:30pm on Monday 13 July 2020, police received a report that the victim was transported to Katherine Hospital with serious injuries after allegedly being assaulted earlier in the evening.

Detectives from Northern Investigation Section and general duty members conducted investigations resulting in the arrest of the 70-year-old man. He was conveyed to the Katherine Watch House where he remains in police custody.

Investigations are continuing.
