Police make arrests after Altona Meadows stabbing

It’s alleged a 53-year-old man was driving a white Ford Ranger utility along Carinza Avenue near Oakdene Grove just before 2.30pm on 2 November when he was involved in a road rage incident with two male occupants of another vehicle.

The 53-year-old Altona Meadows man was stabbed and treated for serious injuries.

The two males from the other vehicle allegedly fled the scene.

Police executed a warrant at a property on Wheat Avenue in Truganina about 11.30am today and arrested two men.

An 18-year-old Truganina man has been charged with drug trafficking and firearm offences unrelated to this incident and will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.

The second person, an 18-year-old Truganina man, was arrested for unrelated matters and charged with failing to appear on bail.

He has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.

Police also executed a warrant at an address on Weighbridge Avenue in Wyndham Vale and arrested a 20-year-old man today.
