Police Officer Dismissed in Darwin 12 May

A 34-year-old male police officer has been dismissed from the Northern Territory Police Force.

On 20 March 2020 the officer was convicted in the Darwin Local Court of two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault.

Following the Court case, he was served with a notice alleging three counts of serious breach of discipline pursuant to the Police Administration Act 1978.
