Today, Monday 11 September 2023, as part of search operations at Stockton Lake, the body of a man believed to be the missing man aged in his 20’s was located by police divers.
The missing man’s family have been advised of the development.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Background: About 3:15pm on Saturday, 10 September 2023, a male in his 20s went swimming in Stockton Lake, in Shotts (Collie). The male required assistance in the water and was unable to be helped by members of the public on shore. Police attended the scene and commenced a search.
