Police renew appeal to locate missing man – Rozelle

Police are reappealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s inner west.

Bryan Buchus, aged 56, was last seen leaving a care facility in Burt Street, Rozelle, about 12.30pm on Wednesday (12 July 2023).

When he did not return and could not be contacted, officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and inquiries commenced into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with a disability.

Inquiries have revealed Bryan was sighted walking past a bottle shop on Darling St, Rozelle, about 2pm that same day.

Bryan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with greying short hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit pants, light blue jumper, black jacket and carrying a laptop bag.

He is known to frequent Balmain, Rozelle and Broadway.

Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the Rozelle area, particularly along Darling Street, between 11am and 3pm on Wednesday 12 July to please contact police.

Anyone with any further information about Bryan’s whereabouts is urged to come forward.
