A motorcyclist has lost their life in a crash at Mutarnee this morning.
Initial investigations indicate just before 11am, the motorcyclist was travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway when it veered off the road and crashed.
The rider, a 78-year-old Kelso man, died at the scene.
The circumstances of the crash are currently being investigated by Townsville’s Forensic Crash Unit.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam vision to come forward.
