A man has died in a traffic crash at Benaraby overnight.
Preliminary inquiries indicate at 11.30pm a truck was heading south on the Bruce Highway when a SUV, also travelling south, has collided with the rear of the truck.
A passenger of the SUV, a man in his fifties, died at the scene.
The female driver of the SUV was transported to the Gladstone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
