An elderly woman has died in a traffic crash on the Bruce Highway at Goolboo today.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 12.15pm the woman was travelling north in a small campervan when she has collided with the trailer of a truck which was travelling south.
The trailer has also hit a 4WD travelling behind the campervan.
The elderly local woman was the sole occupant of the campervan and died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the truck and the driver of the 4WD were not physically injured in the incident.
Investigators would like to speak with the driver of a large truck which was travelling in front of the campervan.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are also appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the vehicles travelling on the highway to contact police.
