Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Mango Hill

A 36-year-old man has died after a motorcycle crash on the Bruce Highway at Mango Hill early this morning.

Preliminary investigations indicate the motorcyclist was travelling south on the Bruce Highway when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a light pole just before 2.30am.

The Sunshine Coast man was declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and has appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.

All lanes of the Bruce Highway have since reopened.
