The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a woman died in a traffic crash at Armstrong Creek this afternoon, 19 August.
Emergency services were called to Mount Samson Road at around 1:55pm following reports a white Hyundai Kona had collided head on with a white Volkswagen Amarok.
The driver of the Kona, a 72-year-old Dayboro woman died at the scene.
The driver of the Amarok, a 54-year-old woman, was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigations into the circumstances are ongoing and police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam vision to come forward.
