A man has died in a single vehicle traffic crash at Parkhurst this afternoon.
Just after 2.30pm, the station wagon the man was driving left the roadway on Yaamba Road near Rachel Drive and collided with a powerpole.
The Berserker man was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
First aid was rendered to the 40-year-old man, however he died at the scene.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
