Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Parkinson

A man has died following a two-vehicle crash at Parkinson this afternoon.

Just after 3.30pm, a Nissan Patrol was travelling along Precinct Street when it attempted to turn into a driveway and collided with a motorcycle.

Emergency services were called and rendered assistance to the motorcyclist. The 51-year-old man died on scene as a result of his injuries.

The 19-year-old male driver of the Nissan Patrol did not suffer any physical injury.

Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
