Police responding to serious traffic crash at Bundaberg 3 February

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a teenager was critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Bundaberg overnight (Feb 2).

Initial reports indicate at around 7pm, a 17-year-old driver was stopped in his car on Goodwood Road to turn right into Wyllie Street when he was struck from behind and pushed into the path of an oncoming car.

He was transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a critical condition.

A 58-year-old Thabeban man and his 28-year-old daughter were also taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital for treatment with minor injuries.

A 31-year-old male driver and sole occupant from another vehicle was uninjured.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to contact police.
