A male pedestrian has sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Cranbrook early this morning.
The 22-year-old man was walking down Charles Street when he was struck by a passing car shortly before 2.30am.
He suffered significant injuries and was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
The female driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is being urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
