Police responding to serious traffic crash at Moffat Beach

Police are investigating a serious single-vehicle traffic crash in Moffat Beach yesterday afternoon.

Around 4.50pm, a 44-year-old man was driving along Seaview Terrace when he lost control of his vehicle before crashing into a restaurant.

Two people, who were dining in the restaurant at the time, were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and two passengers, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, were not physically injured in the crash.

Forensic Crash Unit has seized the vehicle and commenced an investigation into the crash.

Forensic crash unit investigators are appealing for witnesses or vision of the vehicle in the Moffat Beach area yesterday afternoon from 4.30pm.
