Police return to Duckhole Lake Track in Bruce Fairfax investigation

Tasmania Police will be conducting searches over the next two days as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Launceston man Bruce Fairfax.

The 66-year-old was reported missing from the Duckhole Lake Track area at Strathblane in Southern Tasmania on Saturday 14 October, 2017.

Despite extensive searches of the area at the time, he was never located.

Kingston CIB announced last week his disappearance was now being investigated as a criminal matter.

Police, and search and rescue personnel will be searching the Duckhole Lake Track area today and tomorrow.

Police are urging anyone with information about Bruce’s disappearance to come forward.
