A search is underway to locate a missing 62-year-old man from Townsville.
Jamie Slight was last seen on Angus Smith Drive, Douglas around 10.30am this morning and has not been seen since.
He was wearing a blue polo shirt, patterned board shorts, a beanie, thongs and is carrying a yellow backpack.
Police are concerned for his welfare as he suffers from a condition that requires medical intervention.
A search is underway in the vicinity of Angus Smith Drive and James Cook Drive.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
